Singapore, September 24th, 2016: SITA Tennis Academy Awarded Contract to Manage Keppel Club Tennis Programmes in Singapore.
SITA Tennis Academy is pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement with the Keppel Club to manage the clubs tennis programme commencing operations on October 1st, 2016. Under the agreement, SITA will provide full time tennis coaching services to the club.
Keppel Club is a full scale members club that is located in Telok Blangah area of Singapore(close to Sentosa), with a full range of facilities that include a beautiful 18 hole golf course with driving range, five floodlit tennis courts(two indoor and three indoor with a hitting wall), an Olympic sized pool, 8 lane bowling centre, gymnasium and more.
One of the SITA Directors, Joe Russell, commented “We are extremely pleased about the prospects moving forward as we see numerous positive spinoffs for both parties.”
Under the agreement, Keppel Club will allow non members (juniors and adults) to enroll in the clubs tennis group programmes which will foster more participation and usage of the clubs facilities. Russell emphasized, “Our first priority obviously will be to service the members needs and to ensure that more existing club members are enrolling in the clubs tennis programmes and using the facilities. However, we can’t deny the fact that allowing more people to access the club’s tennis programmes won’t have a positive effect on boosting the overall tennis programme.”
Another plus will be that SITA Tennis Academy will now be able to offer another training facility to our existing SITA clientele base. Russell added, “The demand for tennis lessons has been so great at our current SITA Tennis Academy Centre in the Dempsey Hill area, that we are in need of more courts in order to handle our excess capacity and overflow crowd. By bringing Keppel Club tennis facility under the SITA umbrella we will be able to offer more programmes to our current clientele base. It will give us the ability to scale up some programmes and offer more services that we have not been able to fully offer at our existing facility, such as the ever popular holiday tennis/swim camp, ITF junior training, and mini tennis programmes for the kids from 4-10 years old.”
Thirdly, the access to indoor courts at the club will give SITA Tennis Academy the added flexibility to run our programmes even during the wet season which will ensure that classes are run rain or shine.
Lastly, Keppel Club’s location in the central area of Singapore will allow SITA to market their programmes to people in that geographical area, especially in the Alexandra and Queensway areas and beyond.
