Coach Angela hails from Singapore. She graduated from the Singapore Management University (SMU) with a Degree in Business Management, double majoring in Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources (OBHR) and Marketing, while also earning a Diploma in Sports & Leisure Management. She also went to the Singapore Sports School while pursuing tennis.

She started playing at the age of 9, and went on to be a nationally ranked player in Singapore in the under 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s and Open categories. She was one of the top 8 selected among the local juniors for a one-month training stint in Madrid under the joint STA-MTF (Madrid Tennis Federation) program. She was a National Singles Champion in u12, u16, u18, and a multiple-time Open Doubles Champion. She also Plays WITS (Premier A champion) & LTS Division 1.

She represented Singapore multiple times, as part of the Fed Cup Team, the Junior Fed Cup (under 16), at the Southeast Asian (AEC) Championships 2013 where she won a Bronze Medal in the women’s doubles. She also played for Singapore at the Thailand Sports School Games (under 16), winning a Silver Medal in mixed doubles, and at the ECM Libra Championships (Malaysia) in the under 13 team. She was also selected to represent Singapore at the Andre Agassi & Steffi Graf Charity Event hosted by Longines at Roland Garros 2009.

Coach Angela is a PTR professional certified coach, specializing in 10 & Under and Juniors 11-17s categories. She is also certified by the Australasian Academy of Tennis Coaches. Previously coached part-time with local tennis academies, and also had a coaching stint in Australia at Cagney Tennis Academy.
