Matthew is certified tennis coach under PTR, MTMCA-ICA Academy Professional (Level 2), and GPTCA Level C (ATP Certified).
Coach Matthew played for De La Salle University (Phillippines) during Seasons 81 to 85. He also played in numerous tournaments in the Philippines.
Matthew was also involved in Beach Tennis, where is had his highest rank of #2 under the International Federation of Beach Tennis (IFBT). His highest rank under the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Beach Tennis is #1432.
